Tianfu Airlines plans to open a "UAE-China Dedicated Cargo Corridor" from many cities in China to and from Abu Dhabi, UAE. The plan selects Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport as domestic “China-UAE Friendship Airports". Abu Dhabi Airport will assume the functions of logistics hubs in the Middle East and Europe, and Tianfu Airlines will drive international multimodal transportation.

The implementation of the "China-UAE Freight Dedicated Line" project will be divided into two phases. The first phase: Before approval, domestic logistics groups and freight forwarding companies are responsible for domestic transportation in China; Etihad Cargo Airlines is responsible for international transportation to Abu Dhabi Airport. The second phase: After approval, Tianfu Airlines will be responsible for domestic transportation in China and international transportation of the "UAE-China Dedicated Cargo Corridor"; Etihad Crystal Cargo Airlines will be responsible for the joint transportation after Abu Dhabi Airport.

Tianfu Airline, a domestic full cargo airline company that converted from a civil passenger airline company, is the only all-cargo airline in the southwest region that is currently under preparation by Pingchuan Hong Kong. At the same time, the company will fully deploy aviation investment opportunities and equity participate in other cargo aviation companies.Tianfu Airline has a registered capital of 600 million RMB, with Chengdu Shuangliu Airport as its main operation base. Boeing and Airbus series used aircrafts will be main service aircrafts. The route network are selected airports with top 20 domestic annual cargo throughput, plus selected routes from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

In view of the support from central government to the cargo aviation development, the establishment of the new air cargo airline is expected to be 18 months. First flight is expected to be in July 2022. In addition to covering southwest regions with its main base in Chengdu, Tianfu Airline is planning to set up operation bases in first and second tier cities such as Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport & etc. A complete route network will not only ensure operational efficiency, but also provide the most solid support for the entire logistics supply chain project.
